Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

The Clifton Schools serve the benefits-eligible employees of Emory University, Emory Healthcare, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and the Centers for Disease Control and full-time Emory students. Our purpose is to provide the best possible child care and learning experiences for children, and to act as a family support system. The School is licensed by the State of Georgia and nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

The Clifton School is a non-profit corporation, managed by a Board of Directors composed of representatives of Emory, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and the CDC. Daily operations are administered by the School's Director.

ADMINISTRATION: The Director is responsible for the overall administration of the School, including acting as the direct contact for parents and the Board of Directors. The Assistant Director assists the Director with administrative tasks, and supervises the School's Staff.

The Children are divided into separate levels (villages)  by age -- Infant, Toddler I, Toddler II, and Preschool. Each class is staffed by a pair of co-teachers.
