For Our Parents

Our Parent Council

The Parent Council is comprised of parents from both sites and exists to support the staff and create an environment in which all parents can become actively involved at The Clifton School.

Parent Council membership is open to all parents. We would like to encourage you to join and attend the meetings.

The Parent Council hosts quarterly meetings at alternating site locations and various times. Meetings will be announced to parents via the listserve and the Parent Council website at http://cliftonschool.emory.edu.

Clif Notes

"Clif Notes" is our quarterly newsletter for parents. It features current and upcoming events at The Clifton School, Teacher Features, and Reggio Corner articles from our Executive Director, Beth WebbWoods.

Parent Handbook

Our Parent Handbook (PDF) is provided to every family at the time of enrollment and is avaible online. Please take the time to read the handbook, so that you may be informed of our policies and procedures.

We believe that children learn through play and that play is children's work.
Children use many "languages" to express their ideas and explore their world.
As a non-profit organization, we depend on our parents' help in many ways and appreciate their participation in our school life.
