Clifton's 2005 Way Cool Summer School

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

Description: The Clifton School's  2005 Way Cool Summer School is open to children ages 4 (4 before September 1, 2005) -12. Children are grouped according to their age (Junior Camp for ages 5–6 and Senior Camp for ages 7–12) and the type of activity. Following the school’s philosophy inspired by the Reggio Approach, children are involved in hands on activities nurtured by our educators. Summer Adventure aims to stimulate children’s curiosity by exposing campers to art, history and cultures from various parts of the world. In addition, campers focus on team building and cooperation by participating in group activities including: basketball, soccer, cooking, games, volleyball, music, dance, arts, crafts, computers, and science activities. Field trips based on themes of "What if...?" are offered weekly as well as service projects aimed at involving campers in the community.
